Fedor Emelianenko Will Not Retire Yet

I am pleased to write that Fedor Emelianenko will not retire yet. Fedor stated that maybe he acted too soon on announcing his retirement from MMA, and will fight again at some point, possibly facing the loser of the upcoming StrikeForce fight between Alistair Overeem and Fabricio Werdum.

I think it's the right choice for Fedor, he still has a lot left, and I don't think he, or his fans wanted him to end his career on a bad loss like he had in his last fight against Big Foot Silva.

Fedor could still be the best, he probably still is. I think firstly, it's his mind that he needs to get right, he used to have an edge in that department, but in his last two fights it hasn't been there. It's as if he has lost interest in fighting, and his mind doesn't seem as sharp when he's fighting, like it used to be. Second, if he is to stay at heavyweight, which I believe he is, he needs to be sparring and wrestling with bigger guys that are very good at boxing and Jiu-Jitsu. Fedor needs to adjust his training methods, he needs to evolve as a fighter. If he can get these crucial requirements right he will no doubt become a dominant force in MMA again, like he was not long ago.
