First off, Credit to James Toney for stepping out of his element and taking this fight. Not many boxers would take the risk.

I think that this fight is great for both Boxing and MMA. It just generates more interest. MMA and Boxing, although they are very popular already, could still do with a bit more excitement at the moment. James Toney brings that excitement! He is one of the best talkers in the game, as well as a great promoter, ticket seller etc.

James Toney's boxing skills are seriously superior to most boxers, let alone anyone in MMA. He is a true boxing legend for sure, starting out as a middleweight, and going all the way up to heavyweight, winning mutiple world titles, and even winning one at heavyweight. He is the current IBA Heavyweight Champion. All credit where it's due aside, how will Toney fair in an MMA match against one of the most seasoned MMA fighters of all time..Randy Couture..Well, I beleive he has one chance, and that's a punchers chance. If Toney catches Couture with a clean punch it's over. Something tells me he will land that punch, I just get that feeling, but I might be wrong.

If Randy Couture can close the distance and get Toney on the ground the fight is almost certainly Randy's. That's what makes this fight so exciting, it really can go either way. It's an unpredictable fight. But without doubt Randy Couture has the advantage, having many more fighting skills then just boxing in his arsenal.

Who wins, we will have to wait and see. I can just vision James Toney landing a huge punch as Couture comes jumping in for the takedown, ending the fight in the first round. I hope I'm wrong because I would like James Toney to be slightly humbled from getting choked out by Couture. Just to remind him that he's fighting in MMA not boxing, and that it's not all that easy to change over from being a successful boxer to a successful mixed martial arts fighter.

Could this be the start of some kind of Boxing Vs MMA middle ground. Where Boxers and MMA fighters fight each other on a regular basis. Maybe soon there will be a whole fight card wheres it's pure MMA guys Vs boxers..

This fight isn't even worth writing about..The whole world wants to see Pacman Vs Mayweather, but that can't happen because Roger Mayweather could be going to jail. Would you want to fight manny pacquiao, the toughest fight of your career, without your right hand man in your corner. Floyd is doing the right thing, he's knows you can't go into a fight of this magnitude short stacked.

My concern isn't about Mayweather Vs Pacquiao not taking place, but with the choice of opponent that Bob Arum has chosen instead..There are many other good fighters that deserve a shot at Pacquiao. Just to name two, Andre Berto and Timothy Bradley..These two fighters are a much better match up for Manny, and also deserve a shot. Berto and Bradley would both be tough fights for Manny, maybe that's why Arum has kept away from them..Or possibly Bob Arum has picked Margarito so that he keeps all the revenue generated from the fight in-house, as he manages both fighters..

This fight is about nothing more then the dollars. Margarito does not deserve this fight. And in all honesty, I hope Margarito destroys Pacquiao, (slim to no chance, I know), and then Margarito also gets destoyed by whoever he fights afterwards. Just to teach Bob Arum a lesson.

Prediction: Pacquiao by knockout or stoppage.
