Fedor Emelianenko Vs Big Foot Silva

Fedor Emelianenko VS Antonio "Big Foot" Silva - Strike Force MMA

Big Foot Silva Beats Fedor Emelianenko

Fedor will make his return to the octagon on Saturday 12th Feb 2011 since losing to Jiu-Jitsu master Fabricio Werdum. Big Foot Silva is a dangerous fighter, he has good punching power, great comeback determination, and is no slouch on the ground being a Brazillian Jiu-Jitsu Black Belt. He is a huge guy who has fought and beat some very good fighters, he has also improved immensely in the last year or so. Big Foot Silva gave Werdum a very good fight, and we all seen what Werdum done to Fedor. Silva also has good take downs and vicious ground and pound. This is a tough come back fight for anyone, including Fedor.

Fedor Emelianenko is considered by many as the best MMA fighter in the world, so he couldn't make his comeback against a mediocre opponent. Fedor is not without his haters though, people expect so much of Fedor and if he would of fought someone questionable the haters would of had a field day. Maybe they still will, maybe no one Fedor beats will ever be good enough for some people. However, I'm sure that if Fedor, at some point, fights and beats StrikeForce Champion Alistair Overeem, even the haters will have to conceed that he just beat "the man", considered as the one fighter people would have as the favorite to win in the build up to the fight.

Fedor Vs Big Foot Who Wins?

This is going to be a tough fight for Fedor, and as good as Fedor is it's still hard to pick a winner. But as we know, Fedor is the giant killer, he is brilliant at fighting the huge guys, and he has very good stamina late in fights, something that Big Foot does not have. Big Foot Silva should try and go for a quick stoppage because the longer the fight goes the more tired he's going to get. Fedor will probably try and use his fight tactics wisely, making Silva use up his energy in the early rounds, then when Silva's gassed out, Fedor will spring into action and go for a submission. Either that or some late round ground and pound. A tough fight for Fedor, specially coming off a loss, but I see Fedor making a successful comeback, winning by decision.

Is Fedor Finished As A Fighter?

Not at all, I think the Fedor loss to Werdum was just one of those things. Anyone, incuding the great Fedor Emelianenko can get caught. It doesn't take anything away from him, or any other great fighter, it just makes you realise and understand how easy it is to lose a fight in MMA.

UFC's got better fighters then strikefarce

UFC: That's not true. The only reason you think that is because the UFC is more mainstream then strikeforce and spend big money marketing the ufc brand name.

Fedor will be patient, very deliberate and not try to bull rush him. I expect Fedor to take a few punches in the early going on the ground but find an opening and get an armbar submission.
