It will show if Povetkin has matured enough mentally as a fighter, and it will also be a good indicator to see whether he has what it takes to fight on the bigger stage against a live opponent. Not that he hasn't fought against some decent fighters, but Povetkins best wins so far have been a TKO victory over Chris Byrd, who was way past his prime, and a points win over Eddie Chambers. So Povetkin has a lot to prove here. Ruslan Chagaev has only lost once and that was to Wladimir Klitschko, so if Povetkin can put on a good performance here it will make people sit up and take notice.
