George Groves Vs Kenny Anderson Is Called Off
Quick Update: The scheduled fight between George Grove and Kenny Anderson has been called off due to "medical reasons". The "medical reasons" has come from the George Groves camp. Not sure what the problems is. It could possibly be an injury picked up during training. However, nothing has been confirmed.
It is rumoured though that George Groves has scrapped this fight with Anderson because his manager has won purse bids for a world title fight against WBO Super Middleweight Champion Robert Stieglitz. Again, nothing is confirmed. Groves Vs Anderson would have been a good fight, but if the choice is there to fight for a world title Groves would be crazy not to go for it. Saying that, Robert Stieglitz could be a risky fight for Groves. Robert Stieglitz is an experienced operator and has more knockouts on his boxing record then Groves has fights.
