IKE IBEABUCHI Has Been Released 2022

IKE "The President" IBEABUCHI is back. He has been released from prison and is now back in Nigeria, and appears to be a free man. If you don't know who Ike is, he was one of the best up and coming Heavyweights of the 1990's. He was a serious force to be reckoned with, and in my opinion would have no doubt went on to become a heavyweight champion had he stayed out of trouble. At 20 wins and 0 losses he is still undefeated. Check out the video below of Ike working out. He is still in great shape for his age.

Now at 49 years old, he does plan to make a comeback. In all honesty, at almost 50 years old, I think we can all agree that his best days in the ring are behind him. But it would be great if he could get a few warm up fights against low level opposition [which is needed as he has been in prison for 20 years], then maybe fight on a Triller event against another boxing or MMA veteran.

Can Ike Ibeabuchi win a major title at 49. I doubt it, but stranger things have happened. George Foreman did it at 45, so you just never know. We'll have to see what he has left. But It only takes one punch in the heavyweight division.

Power is the last thing to leave a fighter. And Ike was a powerful guy. He is one of those guys, who even at almost 50, I wouldn't completely right off. If he does come back, I can't wait to see him in the ring again. If you haven't seem him fight, take a look at highlight video above or watch the full fight he had against David Tua. It was a war. I wish Ike all the best in his life and comeback to the ring. I'll be rooting for him. Be sure to subscribe to Ike's YouTube channel and send him your best wishes.

Mitch Blood Green Today [2022]

The controversial, but always entertaining Mitch Blood Green was a pretty good fighter in his day. He was as tough as a brick, with a great chin. In 1986 Mitch fought Tyson in the ring and the fight went the distance, with Tyson winning via a unanimous decision. The Mike Tyson - Mitch Green street beef goes all the way back to 1988, and that is what Green is mostly remembered for online.

They had a street fight. Tyson gave him a swollen eye and a few cuts, and Tyson ended up with a broken hand. For many years Mitch Blood Green has been out of the public eye, which has a lot of boxing fans asking questions, wondering if he's still alive, what he's up to etc. Yes, he is 65 years old now and he is still alive.

I think he's had his ups and downs in life like we all do, but its great to see him again after all these years. There is a lot of talk about him and Tyson doing a podcast together and squashing their beef. It would be nice for them to make peace. Big credit to Tim Witherspoon for his support of Green and the Punching Bag Skunk [Ghetto Greg] for the great video. Make sure you subscribe to the YouTube channel.

Gervonta Davis Knocks Out Rolly Romero

Gervonta Davis Knocks Out Rolly Romero in the 6th round by setting him up with a beautiful counter left hand. There was a lot of talk before the fight, mostly from Rolly. But it was just to sell the fight. He was understandably devastated with the loss and has called for a rematch, saying it was a lucky punch. However, Tank was just the more smarter, more experienced boxer. He bided his time, waited for Rolly to get tired, then made him miss and made him pay. That wasn't a lucky punch, it was Tanks boxing IQ executed in real time under the bright lights.

Fury Vs Whyte 1st Press Conference

The Tyson Fury vs Dillian Whyte Press Conference has ended in many fans being somewhat disappointed by Dillian Whyte not turning up. I don't want to get into the reasons for Whyte not attending, or why he is staying silent and is apparently unhappy with the contract / percentage split of the purse. There is a lot of boxing politics involved, and it does seem to be more of an issue between the promoters than the fighters themselves. Anyway, the press conference wasn't a total failure.

Tyson Fury managed to do a pretty good job of entertaining and making it quite funny. Let's hope that Whyte does attend the next press conference, at least for the fans. I mean, he is getting a good payday, a shot at the WBC title which has he has been trying to get for years, and headlining at Wembley Stadium. Is that not enough? It would be shame if he never took part in any of the build up. You can watch the press conference below [from Top Rank].
