Seems very unreasonable, almost as if Fury never really wanted the fight to begin with and was surprised when Usyk accepted and agreed to all his demands. Maybe deep inside Fury he knows he just doesn't want this fight as much as Usyk does, and is worried that the lack of motivation will see him mentally and physically more unprepared than before, heading into the biggest fight possible. Everyone now eagerly awaits the next update to see what Fury's response will be. But from what has been revealed, it does seem like Fury has tried everything to stop this fight from happening. And only him, and possibly close members of his team / family know the real reasons behind that. Perhaps he has seen it all done it all, held all the belts before [not all at the same time though] etc, so doesn't have that hunger, or just has too much money and can't be bothered.
Maybe his ego has gotten too big and he feels that Usyk, being somewhat of a new-comer to the heavyweight division in comparison, is so far beneath him that he doesn't deserve a fair split. He has made comments hinting at this. Who knows for sure.

The time for this fight was now. The last undisputed fight at heavyweight was a few decades ago. Anything can and does happen in heavyweight boxing. This opportunity might not come back around again for years if the belts get split up. Such as shame as this was a true legacy fight for both men. Whoever won this match would have been the undefeated undisputed heavyweight champion of the world. That is some achievement. If that's not enough to motivate Fury anymore, he may as well retire from the sport.
